Indeed, those things fac-
tored into the couple’s deci-
sion to purchase the place.
“We instantly loved it—the
open floor plan, the natural
light, the indoor/outdoor
feeling,” she recalls. But the
open design of the home
does create one major challenge: “There isn’t much
storage here, so everything
is pretty much on display,”
says Lisa. “But we’ve displayed our knick-knacks and
treasures in vignettes to try
to make them look as nice as
possible.” Even in two-year-old Lucas’ bedroom, the toys
and books are carefully arranged. (Their second son,
Theo, was born in August.)
