Lisa Wong Jackson and her husband, Nick,
have tried to stay true to their home’s mid-century roots. With white walls throughout
and decor that is modern and streamlined,
the overall effect is an airy interior where
the setting—the landscape includes redwoods and maples—is a focal point.
Nick, an attorney, and Lisa, the stationery designer behind Good on Paper,
bought the home in August 2008. The
three-bedroom residence in the Berkeley
Hills was designed by Cliff May, who is
credited with developing the ranch house
style. In an interview with The New York Times
