High- and low-tech come together
in these handmade felt iPad sleeves.
As Lotta Jansdotter, the creative
genius behind this DIY, put it: “It is
swift and easy, and makes for a re-
ally practical and personal gift for
the holidays.” You can find more of
Lotta’s designs on her website, which
includes a recently expanded on-
line shop (great news for those of us
who aren’t able to visit her Brooklyn
storefront in person).
Create a one-of-kind iPad case in just a few hours.

MATERIALS
¾ yard of 3mm-thick industrial felt.
I buy mine from FilzFelt, a really
great company that carries the most
wonderful colors and options for
heavy-duty felt.
Pébéo Setacolor fabric ink. They
come in a wide range of colors (for
this project, I used Shimmer Canary
61), are easy to work with, and yield
lovely results.
