ADVENT CALENDAR
“WHEN PAUL AND I got married, I knew I wanted to establish
traditions in our family that would help us experience all of the antici-
pation that makes Christmas so special. Our first year as newlyweds, I
started our annual Activities Advent Calendar.
AT TIMES, I’ve been elaborate and over-the-top, creating 25 tiny
individually wrapped boxes with the activities tucked inside like for-
tunes. But there have also been years when life was so busy, I only man-
aged to print out a blank calendar page and hand-write in the activities.
No matter what, having the Activities Advent Calendar really helps me
focus on enjoying the season.”
